sorry I don't speak spanish but here is a story I found on an other site :
dream or truth , what do you think
I slammed the locker door hard but it still bounced back. ‘Jesus Christ can this day get any worse?’ I looked around checking that no one saw me talking to myself knowing that it was futile.
Having to carry my books around all day was bad enough let alone getting my locker key at the end of the day and finding it wouldn’t close.
I slammed the door one more time before giving up, my free hand pushing on the door; the other carrying the stack of books needed for homework.
All of a sudden the books slipped to the floor making them scatter across the alleyway.
I bent down retrieving the books and was just about to come up when my head made contact with the locker door, still open.
‘Rough day?’ a deep husky voice sounded next to me, it was a boy.
My vision suddenly came back and I smiled back at the lad.
He was cute, I thought. Nice lopsided smile, kind of a cheeky and great hair, dark and floppy. I took a quick look down at his body, vested t-shirt with a khaki shirt on top and baggy jeans.
Realising I was staring I looked up at him and answered.
‘First day actually, but yeah, still rough.’ He smiled at me and I looked up into his eyes.
‘New? I’ll give you a tour of the school if you want one, well, if you haven’t already had one?’ he smiled again.
‘Yeah, okay if I can get my locker to shut, it wont budge…’ I replaced my books steadily into my hands and gave him a questioning look.
‘Hold on there’s a knack to it…’ he shunted his tanned and bulky (obviously from working out) shoulder at the door but it still popped open. ‘Okay your locker is really bummer but you can borrow mine for a while, I’ll see the principal tomorrow for you, get it sorted.’
God, that smile is sexy, I thought.
‘Sounds great, if you’re sure…I’m Katie by the way, Katie Telford.’ I started pulling my other books out of the locker as I spoke.
‘I’m Josh Hartnett, so what about that tour, we could drop off your books on the way?’ he grabbed the remaining books out of the locker and some off my stack and we walked down the hall.
Our arms brushed as we strolled along.
****
He took us all around the school and the last stop was the sports hall. In there was some boys playing basketball, one of them noticed Josh and came over, away from the group.
‘You can’t bring your date in here Josh, it isn’t very romantic and besides one of us might take her off your hands.’ The boy winked at me and placed a playful punch on Josh’s arm.
Josh replied smartly and took the ball from his hands.
‘You couldn’t beat a girl at basketball let alone pull one. Anyway Katie isn’t my date, she’s new here and I’m just being friendly.’ he bounced the ball and added to me ‘ this is Greg Good also known as ‘Gooz’.’
‘Oh yeah?’ Gooz questioned back.
Josh was just about to leave when I stepped in the conversation.
‘Come on then,’ I said jokily to Gooz ‘ you think you can beat a girl, I’ll play basketball, Josh do you want to play on my side? Lets show Gooz how rubbish he is at basketball!’
Josh high fived me and took off his shirt. I pulled off my blue sweater and tied up my long wavy hair.
‘Your goal, our goal,’ I indicated with my hands ‘15 minutes each end, bring it on!’
I turned around and Josh winked at me. The game suddenly came to and we were 5 points I was at the point of shooting the goal until the bell went for the end of the game. I turned and dropped the ball, put up my hands indicating we’d won.
Josh came up to me and pulled me into a hug, being pretty ticklish I squirmed around and tickled Josh back. Suddenly I was face to face with him and we both lowered in for a kiss.
But it stopped there as a voice sounded quite shrilly behind us.
‘Josh, you said you’d meet me at the fountain 30 minutes ago so we could go for a coffee. I was getting worried. If you wanted to play basketball im sure we could go to my house…there has to be a racket for that sort of thing around somewhere?’
It was the girl I had spoken to before, but speaking was a joke, she spoke I listened, I could hardly get a word in edgeways.
She was tall and had blonde hair down to her waist. Her legs were slender and tanned and looked great inside a pink skirt that only she could get away with.
Josh jumped away from me immediately and rushed off towards the girl.
He took a last glance back; it looked pleading as if he couldn’t stand the girl. Picking up his shirt he left with the girl in his wake.
I didn’t want to interfere with Gooz and the other game before so I went to collect my stuff off the bench.
‘Katie?’ I turned and saw it was Gooz.
‘After that with Josh I don’t think Taylor will be very happy, she likes him a lot.’ He passed me a bottle of water; he must have noticed the sweat on my head. ‘I’d stay out of her way if I was you, Okay?’
He didn’t look threatening, just concerned.
‘What is she going to do, Knock me out with her hair?’ I was almost laughing.
‘Trust me, she is evil, has no mercy…take care.’ He gave me one more concerning glance and left.
I took a huge gulp of the water and left. She can’t be that bad, I thought. The thought disappeared quickly from my mind as I climbed the steps for the exit.
Any1 who thinks i should carry on with this story pleez say if you dont think i should pleez say aswell! Thanx
I walked up the drive to my porch of my house. I had been thinking about Josh all the way home, not one memory of how he looked slipped my mind.
I got the keys to my front door out of my sports bag and pushed it in the lock, but the way the key turned it told me that it was already open.
Stepping in nervously, I wondered whether we had burglars.
Suddenly something made me jump and the door opened to the left of me. Out popped my mum with dirty denim dungarees on and a headscarf.
‘Hey Honey, how was school?’ She beamed at me and placed down her duster.
‘Yeah, it was great.’ I dropped my bag on a chair and headed for the fridge.
‘Why are you home early?’ I asked curiously.
‘I’d thought you’d want someone to talk to after school, it is your first day after all.’ She pulled off her eccentric looking headscarf and shook out her hair. ‘By the way, there is not much food in the fridge; I thought we could get some together? at the store?’
Sighing, I agreed to help mum pick groceries and so I went upstairs to change my clothing. I pulled of my football sweater and jeans pulled on my yellow vest with checked shirt. Then put on my cargo pants and sandals.
Considering we had only been in town for less than a month, or America for that matter, we still had found where the best and most local stores were.
We jumped out of the old wagon and entered Supermart.
Chatting about things while we shopped we finally got to the checkout. But then mum dashed off again.
‘Go and unpack the things, I’ll be back in a second, just forgot a few bits…’ She walked swiftly towards the clothing section, her suede handbag twirling madly.
I started unpacking things on the conveyor belt and was just on the last box of cereal, and then I looked up.
I double took quickly.
It was Josh.
He must have already been looking at me as our eyes met, he stared and smiled. That same old sexy smile.
‘Hey I didn’t know you worked here?’ I stuffed my hands in my pockets, trying to look casual even though I felt embarrassed that he had seen me in my old clothes.
‘Well its not something to brag about. This job sucks, I only do it for the money.’ Josh started scanning things through while I packed them into a bags.
‘I thought you had to rush off with Taylor, sounded kind of important?’
‘Well, yeah but then I had a phone call from the boss here, said he had a shortage on staff, needed me.’ He continued scanning, looking up occasionally.
Again, mum popped up, holding an armful of things, including some size 6 sandals and a black t-shirt that looked my size.
‘Good afternoon Miss Telford, please put your items here and I will be happy to scan them for you.’ He beamed at my mum.
Mum looked gob-smacked but she placed the things down anyway.
‘Good lord, its Mrs, Telford by the way, but how do you know?’
‘Oh, you look so young, ma’am, I couldn’t tell whether you where Katie’s older sister or not.’ He glanced at me.
‘Don’t be silly, don’t you see my wrinkles?’ There was a pause and then, ‘So you know Katie, at school?’
I interrupted before things could get any further, I didn’t want mum spilling loads of things about m that I didn’t want Josh to know.
‘Mum this is Josh, Josh Hartnett, we met today at school.’ I smiled at him and he winked.
‘Yeah, it says so on his nametag, love. That’s lovely that you have made friends, and such polite ones too.’ She placed the remaining bags into the trolley and handed over some plastic. ‘I’m sorry dear we can’t chat, I have the hairdressers soon.’
Josh handed back the credit card after scanning it and turned to me.
‘I’ll see you tomorrow?’
‘Defiantly, 8:30 by the main gate fountain. Don’t be late.’ It was my turn to wink this time, just before mum yelled back,
‘Katie, honey, come along.’
* * * *
‘And then she yells, ‘I got trapped inside the grocery store for 3 days and nearly died of hunger!’’ Josh laughed out loud.
‘No way?’ I questioned stupidly.
‘Yeah, I mean, how stupid can you get?’ Josh and me were both laughing by now.
We were sat on the picnic benches by the sports field discussing the newest TV programme over milkshakes.
Josh was so easy to talk to, yet I always felt nervous whenever I saw him for the first time each day.
The sun shone brightly as the clouds cleared. I pulled down my sunglasses from the top of my head to my eyes. Or so I thought. But somehow strands of my brunette hair had tangled around them, knotting up.
I tried pulling them out but just made it worse because I couldn’t see it.
‘Do you want a hand?’ Josh must have seen the struggle and so he put down his milkshake to help.
‘Er…yeah, im such an idiot.’ I tried laughing it out but inside I felt like a total looser.
His gentle hands wrapped around mine as he tried untying the strands. I let my hands go so he had full view of the knot. I looked up at him, his face his clothes, his body.
He was so gorgeous, that football shirt he had on sagged at the right places around him and his jeans hugged at his trim thighs.
‘You have great taste in shirts.’ I said.
‘You mean my Tigers Football sweater?’ He looked down at it and passed me my sunglasses as well.
‘Yeah, I have one, but I wear it to bed.’ It doesn’t look that great on me, great on you though.’ I looked up into his eyes. They were so deep and longing.
‘So what are you doing this afternoon?’ He changed the subject quickly from what we wore to bed and then took a long sip from my milkshake.
‘Hey that’s mine, you’re cheeky!’ I laughed as he finished it all up and then burped.
We had a bit of a laugh again as I started tickling him for taking my milkshake.
Then I spoke.
‘I’ve got dance classes with Helen Millet and Jade Michaels; I thought I might try something new. Why did you ask?’ I pulled up my sleeve to see the time.
‘Wondered if you wanted to do anything, but don’t worry.’ He grabbed his bag and pulled out a bit of paper and a pen. ‘Can I have your number?’
‘Yeah sure, give me a ring over the weekend.’ I scribbled down the number of my cell phone, ‘Sorry, I got to go, they’ve already started.’
I tossed him a dollar for my milkshake and dashed off in the direction of the Studios
